Are you wanting to buy a home this year but don’t know where to start? You are in the right place! Buying a place is exciting and can be scary at the same time. People always ask, where do I start? The very first step is getting together with a lender and finding out how much of a loan you can afford. This is called getting a pre-approval letter. Once you have that then we can go out and start seeing properties. If we go out to look at properties without doing our homework first we have no idea what your price range is and don’t want to show a buyer something over or under their price range. The worst thing is to fall in love with a home only to find out its more than you can afford. We want you to be prepared so when we do start seeing multiple homes you are in a strong position to make an offer on the one that you fall in love with.
